The Martin D-35MP is a new Madagascar Rosewood rendition of the popular Martin D-35 guitar. Madagascar Rosewood is comparable to the highly esteemed yet very expensive Brazilian Rosewood and 'produces bright, distinct highs, strong mid-range and deep, rich lows. The top of this guitar is Sitka Spruce and the body is bound in vintage-style grained Ivoroid replacing the standard Boltaron. This model also features Martin's Performing Artist Profile neck, which has a nice taper to allow for comfortable playing on both ends of the fingerboard.
